Well I personally don't really like the Goodreads summary, but the book is freaking AMAZING!!! I actually had it on my kindle for a while but never read it because of the Goodreads summary, and well, deleted it off my kindle.... I later found it on my Goodreads To-read list and remembered it was on my kindle and so I read it. And lord did I love it !!! At one point it sort of reminded me of Poison Princess because of their roles they have to play as the pyramid project (thing). But it was very unique and very different. The characters were very loveable and human.
Characters:

• Corinne: she is a good girl. Normal, great cook, busy family life, until she cooks some cakes with these colored bottles from a box her grandmother had given her. She was very loveable and sweet, I really like Corinne she was a really strong character that was willing to figure out what the pyxis does. 
• Mason: Oh my gorsh !! He is so sweet and dreamy !! And a total sweetheart! He is a great guy and it made me happy that he is her shield :) 
• Angeline: Ang is the hyper super great friend, that is there for Corinne at anytime. Ang was really nice and a great character. 

Well anyways, I really enjoyed the book I started and finished it the same day :) It was fast paced and set up a great story. It was interesting and didn't drag, the story flowed very well and kept me guessing for what would happen next. Can't wait to get the next one :)
