A Court of Silver Flames: Sarah J. Maas

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.
(Goodreads)

Okay, first and foremost, I still don't like Nesta. I understand her, I understand why she is the way she is... But I still don't like her and I don't think I ever will. I feel like the people who didn't connect with Feyre connect more with Nesta, and that isn't me. I may lash out at others when I'm depressed but nowhere near the capacity of pain like Nesta. She's just so goddamn mean.
Now, Nesta's story isn't anything new. Just like Maas's other stories, A Court of Silver Flames is a story of found family and healing. And it's cute, if not a bit overdone. I liked that this book focused so much on the importance of accepting help from others, and channeling that into something productive. In this case, it was physical strength, and wanting to bring back the valkyries. The female empowerment, despite what has happened to each individual was so motivating. And as a victim myself, it was beautiful. The companionship of the girls was so heartwarming and cute! The way the house of winds became of sentient being as well was just so interesting, and how the house doted on Nesta was endearing.
Now let's get to my man Cassian. I WOULD DIE FOR CASSIAN. I hate that so many fans have assigned Cassian into being the classic jock, a typical meathead who's pretty. But Cassian is so much more than the box the fandom has placed him in, and this book did just a good job showcasing that. Cassian is loving and caring, he's smart and kind and witty and sexy. And god I am absolutely in love with him. Unfortunately, the book did not have enough Cassian for me, which is a damn shame. This man deserves to have so much more, and I will die on this soapbox.

Alright to the hard stuff. Even though the book is pretty good, there are still a lot of problems with it. The main one being how she wrote Rhysand and Feyre. Yes, they're involved in the book, and it's very very minimal. They only show up for three main scenes. Anyway, the problem for me with Maas's writing is the fact that she kind of erased everything that made those characters lovable for the sake of the book. Feyre is so fucking passive it's annoying, and Rhys is the worst he's ever been. I know he can be antagonistic, but it's like Sarah purposefully diminished them so that she could create conflict. And I believe it's because she made them too perfect. It's unreal, obviously, it's a book and that's why they get away with it, but now that she plans to create more books it's become a problem. The other issue and these go hand in hand, is that she made Feyre and Rhys too goddamn powerful. All the issues in this book could have been solved by Feyre and Rhys if she weren't pregnant. Legit the conflict felt so vain the main baddie was the one princess who turned into a crone. She was mad at Nesta for "stealing" all the magic of the cauldron and turning her ugly... like? What? That's it! That was essentially the entire conflict in the book and trying to find these ancient weapons that were cauldron made. It was all pretty anti-climatic.
Don't even get me started on the sex. I get it, I am fully aware that Maas wrote an adult book. But goddamn this book was just pure erotica and it was fucking annoying. Where is the plot? The dialogue? Apparently, it's left the building with this book. After Nesta and Cassian come to an "agreement" they have sex EVERY GODDAMN CHAPTER. AND THEY ARE LONG ASS SCENES. I couldn't even skip them because she would put character development in the FUCKING SEX SCENES. THE AUDACITY. I was not prepared for the amount of unnecessary smut in this book. And I'm okay with an occasional sex scene, but when it gets to the point that it's overwhelming? It becomes too much and takes away from the story itself. It was truly disappointing.

And now the ending, the girls are badasses and have been forcibly thrown into the selection thing god I can't remember the actual name anyways they're the winners, it's all cool. And then Feyre goes into labor AND FUCKING DIES. THAT'S RIGHT. SHE FUCKING DIES. Everything we went through in the past three books for her to get offed by her winged baby, all because she and Rhys are kinky shits. Nesta finally bucks up and becomes a good sister and confesses her love to Feyre and tells her how sorry she is she didn't do anything to help her and manages to save Feyre with her cauldron magic and changes her womb into a wing friendly one. She also changed her own anatomy to a wing friendly womb too because of my mans Cassian And thus begins the cutest part of the book, the wedding proposal. Nesta Finally acknowledges the mating bond between herself and Cassian and she asks him to marry with an ultimatum, she wants a big wedding I'm crying. Cassian the little shit he is, asks her cheekily what if he doesn't want a big wedding, and Nesta pulls out a slice of bread and offers it to him. So it's either the slice of bread or the wedding. Cassian honestly wanted a big wedding too and it's legit the cutest thing ever. The wedding is spectacular, Rhys is back to his old self, and Nesta is so happy with Cassian. And I was genuinely happy for this ending, it's one that they both deserve. They deserve to be the happiest they could possibly be after all the things they've gone through.

Overall, the book was good. And I did like it, not my absolute favorite. But still a good book, I just want to know how she plans to continue the stand alone books with how everything has been left off. Because even the book addressed the issue of Feyre and Rhys's overpowered-ness.

Anyways,

This book was everything I wanted and more. It was HUGE, it was GLORIOUS, and it was HEARTBREAKING.  I cried so much it's kind of ridiculous.
Now let me begin, this book was seriously everything I wanted and more. It's the epic finale to this amazing book series.
Honestly, is this going to be a review? Probs not. It's probably going to be me ranting about how much I love this book.
SPOILERS ARE COMING!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Besides, the book has been out for a couple months, so...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyways! Seriously I have so many feels when it comes to the Kingdom of Ash, just as many as A Court of Wings and Ruin<--- Click here. The book starts about 3 months after the events of BOTH Tower of Dawn and Empire of Storms with the most heart wrenching beautiful intro story thing in the points of view from both Aelin and Rowan:
“Once upon a time, in a land long since burned to ash, there lived a young princess who loved her kingdom …”
throws self into a dark abyss to cry. That little intro sets the tone for how the first part of the book will progress. Like Sarah J. Maas's usual writing, we will be jumping around perspective. A lot of the beginning is from Aelin's perspective, and it introduces us to the torture she has endured these past few months, including the mental trauma. I honestly felt like this was reminiscent of when she was in the salt mines, in regards that she fought at first. Then settled that her circumstances were irreversible, then regained her spirit and escaped. It was honestly pretty epic.... and I cried a lot. It was seriously so cool that Aelin did save herself in terms of getting out of the building. But it took the help of Rowan, Gavriel, Lorcan, and Elide to actually officially save Aelin and get her to safety. That was literally all I wanted; a lie was for Aelin to finally allow herself to get help and do not have to do everything by herself. Oh, she tries, she tries so hard, but none of her friends will let her suffer alone.
I'm just going to finish this now, two years later, by saying I love this book series so much. And the ending was perfect even though I want so much more. It was beautiful growing with these characters and seeing how they grew. This story is beautiful, and though it's not for everyone, I hope you give it a chance.
A Court of Frost and Starlight: Sarah J. Maas
The Winter Solstice. In a week. I was still new enough to being High Lady that I had no idea what my formal role was to be. If we'd have a High Priestess do some odious ceremony, as lanthe had done the year before. A year. Gods, nearly a year since Rhys had called in his bargain, desperate to get me away from the poison of the Spring Court to save me from my despair. Had he been only a minute later, the Mother knew what would have happened. Where I'd now be. Snow swirled and eddied in the garden, catching in the brown fibers of the burlap covering the shrubs My mate who had worked so hard and so selflessly, all without hope that I would ever be with him We had both fought for that love, bled for it. Rhys had died for it.
(Goodreads)
So I finished at midnight, and I absolutely loved it. And apparently there has been some backlash about this book not being amazing, or the characters being out of character... And well.... I personally don't see it. I personally loved the book so flipping much....
SPOILERS.... SPOILERS AHEAD.... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alright! So this book was perfect for me. It was exactly what I needed. It was the perfect bridge for the spinoffs. This to me was the actual goodbye to Feyre and Rhys's story. This was their actual happily ever after. And honestly I could not get enough actually I can, because I don't need anymore of Feyre and Rhys unless they are in the background or side characters *cough*
Anyway, this book was mostly fluff, with the occasional bit of angst. We finally got to see things from not just Feyre, but also RHYSAND, CASSIAN AND MOR!!! I am shooketh theres also the one time we get Nesta's point of view.... And like whatever... I really didn't care for it because I hate Nesta with all my heart
Anyway... Feyre is struggling to do everything she can to help the people of Velaris (Defender of the Rainbow and the desk), she's slowly starting to wear red RED I'M TELLING YOU!!!  *cries*
She's struggling to paint, and to bone her beloved husband ;)

Honestly my favorite part of this book was the chance of seeing Rhys be a normal person (fae...). His interactions with Cassian and Azriel, his nicknames:
LITTLE RHYSIE!!!! I REPEAT CASSIAN CALLS HIM LITTLE RHYSIE!!! *screams into the abyss* Honestly that is my new favorite thing Cassian calling Rhys LITTLE RHYSIE.
I loved seeing Cassian and Feyre get drunk together and "decorating" the house. I loved how they all teased each other. I LOVED seeing Az laugh, full on laughing. I loved that the three boys have annual snowball fights and Az has won 199 games ONE HUNDRED NINTEY NINE FIGHTS PEOPLE. How do they keep score you ask? Whoever isn't frost bitten wins. Guys I am living for this.
Amren being a legit angry puff ball, Amren telling all her friends that she struggles with pooping and peeing, like I was laughing so hard I cried. (BLOOD TASTES BETTER)
Amren marinating in the smell of her sex, that's just gross... but so Amren.
Az, my sweet sweet boy, how he makes everyone wait for Elain. MY SHIP MIGHT BE FLOATING. THE TENSION BETWEEN AZ AND ELAIN IS GOING TO BE THE END OF ME *dies*
MOR GIVING THE WORST GIFTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE EARTH GAVE ME LIFE.
The information we get of Cassian still wanting to be apart of the Illyrians, even though they honestly don't like him was incredible. The information that Azriel likes to forget that he is an Illyrian was amazing too. I loved their difference. I loved that Rhys will bring Az to the camps to remind him that he is an Illyrian.
Now onto Nesta, looks like Nesta has been living in a dump... And sleeping around... Cool, not a good way to cope with everything that has happened but whatever. This book honestly solidified my hate for Nesta. The little sneak peak to the next book honestly has me hooked. I want to see the dynamic between Nesta and Cassian. I actually want to see them fight, and Cassian basically beat Nesta into shape.
The ending of this book, was just so stinking sweet. After the chapter full of wild sex even though it was nice.... I would have been fine without that explicit show of sex it ends with her saying she wants kids *cries because soon we'll have baby Rhysies* Feyre opens an art gallery therapy thing.. For children and I cried.
Then Rhys gave her a house... Well manor, by the lake and I am shooketh. This was so stinking cute I am just filled with happiness.

OH!! One last thing, the interaction of Rhys and Tamlin was actually heart breaking. I didn't think it would actually make me sad to see Tamlin like this. To see this man so broken, it honestly changed a few things in my head. He asked for forgiveness. And I am actually okay with seeing a SLOW redemption arc for him....

Mrs. Maas please give me more of the Az and Elain ship, I know they're going to end up together I can feel it in my shipping heart.
Anyway
Until next time reader <3

A Court of Wings and Ruin: Sarah J. Maas

Looming war threatens all Feyre holds dear in the third volume of the #1 New York Times bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series.

Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's manoeuvrings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit – and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well.

As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords – and hunt for allies in unexpected places.
(Goodreads)

Warning everyone now, this is NOT going to be spoiler free. It's been a year... I'm going to assume everyone has already read it
You have been warned. (honestly this isn't even a review thing... It's more of my reaction to the book)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well this book starts maybe a month after the events at the A Court of Mist and Fury. (I'm totally going to disregard the weird prologue in Rhys point of view... because honestly I didn't get it so lets ignore it)
Well my fear has come to pass, Feyre is back at the spring court with Tamlin the tool and Lucian my beloved but useless friend. But she is not the same person she once was, she is strong, she is married WHERE IS THE GOD DAMN WEDDING?!?! WE DESERVE A FEYSAND WEDDING *cough* She is not broken, nor is she suffering from depression (as severely as before). Feyre is now acting the victim while she sabotages everything she possibly can while at the spring court. She's totally messing with Tamlin and Lucian knows something is up. Now the bitch Ianthe is back and is worse than ever. But mah gurl Feyre, she ain't about that life anymore and she totally steals the spotlight from her during the super important I can't remember which holiday it was ritual, and it was just glorious. Anyway.... Feyre and Rhys are still keeping contact and it honestly just breaks my heart to think of how worried Rhys must have been having Feyre back with her abuser.
Things get sketchy when the twins arrive, and demand that they show them the hole in the wall. Ianthe trying raping Lucian by DRUGGING HIM!! MY GOD I WAS SO ANGERY and devastated. Feyre beat the ever living shit  hell out of her, and mind controlled her into never doing that again. And that she would always live in fear. That moment was just incredible, and much deserved.
Lucian and Feyre escape, and get all the way to winter. And just when it looks like they are going to get caught and bad things are going to happen. CASSIAN AND AZRIEL COME AND SAVE THE DAY. I cried, I cried because in the last book we had no idea if Cassian was going to be able to fly again, and how he was healing. It was all left in the dark and I was dying.  I legit cried tears of happiness with how Cassian greets Feyre and they hug and they sass each other. There friendship, I just, I can't. fangirls over their bromance
Once they get back to the Court of Dreams, everything seems normal for a bit. We see Nesta bitch hover over Elain. And Elain useless sister, Elain is depressed over her fiancĂ© and their wedding that's obviously not going to happen. Lucian is coming to terms that Feyre was legit okay, better that okay when she was with Rhys. And that Rhys is not the evil person he shows to everyone else.
But now, now its game time and they are running against the clock to defeat the king of Hyburn and hopefully keep the wall intact. Lucian decides to go and find the lost queen (Dear Mrs. Maas, I would humbly ask that you please, write a novel about Lucian's adventure to find the lost queen. With how he deals with his trauma, his new birthright I'll get to that in a moment. How he got to the final battle in the nick of time. Please and thank you. A humble fanatic fan)
Feyre learns to fly, taking lessons from my quiet bat Azriel. And we finally get to hear Azriel talk, more than he has in all the books. I loved seeing them bond, to see Az sass Feyre. I loved their dymanic, and I loved that we finally got to see them bond and laugh. And just be friends.
Shit hits the fan, Nesta the bitch doesn't want to help Feyre and the inner circle (which, okay. I understand it was super traumatic. I fully understand that, but with her there it would honestly help so much), until she sees them help the summer court when they are under attack by Hyburn. This was such an intense fight. And it was extra nerve wracking because they had been sent the "ruby eggs of exile"... so... They could have been killed on sight, not just by Hyburn's soldiers, but by summer court people too. But they didn't they survived, they make a joke about Amren and her hoarding of shiny things. All is well for the moment.
Now comes the fun part.
The meeting with all the courts. We get to meet a new favorite, Vivian and Kallias. Everyone is tense. Tamlin the tool makes some horrible remarks. Azriel about beats the hell out of him. Feyre and Rhys
tell the story of how Feyre now has a small bit of everyones power. Fun stuff man.
But it gets better, turns out that Lucian is actually Helion's son. I repeat, HE IS THE SON OF HELION THE RULER OF THE DAY COURT. Let that sink in (Dear Mrs. Maas. I ask as a humble fan, that you please address this in either one of the novella's or in a seperate book. I would love to see how Lucian takes that news, how everything that had happened to him because of his shitty father and brothers begin to make sense. Please and thank you) We learn Cassian, Mor, and Helion have had a three way that was something new
Anyways as the story progresses and new relationship begins, we see Nesta and Cassian get closer... Ish. And honestly I hate it. I loathe Nesta. I cannot stand her, I am indifferent to Elain. But Maas is hinting that Cassian and Nesta are going to end up together and I am not happy, I love Cassian with all my heart and I want him to be happy... With someone else, I don't believe Nesta deserves him. Now if she sort of redeems herself maybe I'll be okay with it. So far I am not. But now, now I like Elain with Az. I just love how sweet they both are, I love how happy Azriel is with just spending time with Elain. AZRIEL DESERVES TO BE HAPPY, AZRIEL DESERVES ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD AND IF ELAIN MAKES HIM HAPPY. SO BE IT *cough*
Before the final battle, I experienced heartache with the death of the Surriel, who was a dreamer. And then came the satisfaction of Ianthe dying a horrible death because of the Weaver.
In the final battle I experienced two of the biggest heartaches. One was when Cassian almost died, if it weren't for Nesta grumbles for an eternity I cried. I sobbed. And then I cried some more because of the heart felt words he shares with Nesta grumbles for an eternity.
And then, then came the biggest heartache that left me literally sobbing for two days (seriously, ask my mom, she couldn't understand why I was crying for TWO DAYS).
On page 666 our beloved Rhysand died. Rhysand died while helping Feyre put the cauldron back together. His final words were of his love for Feyre. RHYS DIED TO SAVE THEM ALL I cried, and I cried. Not only because my favorite character had just died, but because of how Feyre reacted to this. It was a parallel of Rhysand in the first book. Her anguish reminiscent of Rhys, and she convinces the other high lords to give a small bit of their power to bring him back, even Tamlin. And his last parting words were sweet. That he wants her to be happy.
Rhys comes back to life, I cry some more. And then we find out Amren is alive, and she is fey. She is not a phoenix of death any longer (Dear Mrs. Maas, as a humble reader. I would like to ask that you address Amren coming to terms that she is now fey. A normal fey who will one day eventually die. Please and thank you). Everything is done. Not happily ever after per say.
The book ended at a good place. Everything is safe, the evil has been defeated. But now, now they have to heal after everything that has happened. They need to make peace with the humans, they will need to rebuild the courts. And readjust to normal life.
Honestly I loved how Sarah J. Maas ended the series. She could have left it here, and I personally would have had no problem. I love that she is going to write more books, and that they are going to deal with the aftermath of the final battle.
Thank you, Maas, for writing such a beautiful and loving story. Something that I feel I needed as a young teen. These books are my new favorite book, that I have read multiple times well... not the first one
Thank you, thank you for writing these books. These books who dealt with depression in a realistic way, that made me cry and laugh. Who gave me incredible quotes to live by (I have a floor pillow with a mist and fury quote). And inspired me to get my first tattoo.
Thank you
Until next time readers <3
A Court of Mist and Fury: Sarah J. Maas
Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
(Goodreads)
Everything you thought you knew in the first book... was a lie.
This book starts maybe a month after what happened under the mountain. Feyre Darling is suffering from PTSD, Tamlin is trying to deal with everything the best he can, and Lucian my dear is just kind of there for now. Honestly, no matter how many times I read this book, my heart breaks for dear Feyre. The way she is treated, the way she feels, how Tamlin the supposed love of her life. The Mate. DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT SHE IS SUFFERING. THAT SHE IS SO DEPRESSED SHE IS DYING. SHE IS WASTING AWAY *lays in a pool of my own tears* ALICE NOTICES, RHYSAND NOTICES.
The wedding, of my god the wedding. She almost has a panic attack at her own GOD DAMN WEDDING, because they didn't listen to her and still put red petals all over.
Rhysand is an extremely interesting character, I want to know more about him.
Honestly what kills me the most about this book is how ignorant Tamlin is being, especially when he LOCKS HER IN THE HOUSE SO THAT SHE CAN BE #SAFE
Morrigan saving her is amazing, Alice giving her blessing knowing that these strangers will care for her better than Tamlin can. It truly breaks my heart
~~~~~~~
And now we get to the second part, the part where Feyre begins to heal.
Sarah J. Maas honestly describes Feyre's depression in the most realistic way (at least for me, a depressive girl) a way that shows how incredibly debilitating it can be, how lonely it makes you. How broken you feel.
Cassian, Azriel, Morrigan, and Amren: the inner circle. These amazing characters that all have their own past, they all have their own scars, and they all battle with their own memories. These are the types of characters that we should see more of. Cassian supporting Feyre during their training, even when Feyre lost control of her fire and FUCKING BURNED CASSIAN. He didn't say anything, he didn't complain. He just gave Feyre the space she needed and let her lash out.
Honestly the love, care, and support they all give each other is amazing. It is amazing how this support was what our darling Feyre needed to understand that she was being abused by Tamlin. That her own self worth was so low that she would defend her abuser.
This is the kind of story that we need, it shows young girls that this is not okay.

Can I just talk about how much I love Rhysand? He is such an incredible character that has done so much for Feyre and his city. He, who is also abused, has risen above this and came out a stronger man.
And his love for Feyre is the most beautiful thing in the world.
Chapter 56 where he explains everything from his point of the sorrow he faced, the feelings he had when he first saw her. How he heard Cassian's voice when she killed the worm thing (if Rhys didn't marry her than he would). To when he died and DID EVERYTHING HE POSSIBLY COULD TO BRING HER BACK (unlike Tamlin).

Rhys and Feyre's love is just so beautiful and pure. It is a love forged on friendship and a deep understanding that are still healing, that they are not perfect. That they still have hard days, but they won't let them win. They are absolutely perfect for each other
The ending ruined me, and I had to wait a year for the next book.
Ms. Maas has created an incredible story full of rich characters and plot, that will honestly forever live with me. These books have changed the genre for me. They have set a new standard of reading, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Until next time readers <3

A Court of Thorns and Roses: Sarah J. Maas

Feyre's survival rests upon her ability to hunt and kill – the forest where she lives is a cold, bleak place in the long winter months. So when she spots a deer in the forest being pursued by a wolf, she cannot resist fighting it for the flesh. But to do so, she must kill the predator and killing something so precious comes at a price ...

Dragged to a magical kingdom for the murder of a faerie, Feyre discovers that her captor, his face obscured by a jewelled mask, is hiding far more than his piercing green eyes would suggest. Feyre's presence at the court is closely guarded, and as she begins to learn why, her feelings for him turn from hostility to passion and the faerie lands become an even more dangerous place. Feyre must fight to break an ancient curse, or she will lose him forever.
(Goodreads)

This is seriously my new favorite book, I am in love with this book. The book, the characters, the world... This book is absolute perfection, by having such imperfect characters. I do admit that I actually didn't want to read this book. I found it interesting, but I never had the motivation to actually read it... Until a friend of mine legit forced me to read it, and it was absolutely incredible.
Feyre is just such a strong character, she is human and imperfect. She makes mistakes, she gets mad at her sisters. But she is strong, she is real and just so human. I just love her so much because of her imperfection.
Feyre is then taken by Tamlin who says she has broken a sacred treaty by killing one of his people. Now Tamlin is an interesting character, there is something about him that calls to Feyre's need for safety, to be taken care of and not have to worry when her next meal is going to be. Now this is a love story so of course there is going to be love.
Feyre's strength during the trials, is honestly incredible. She suffered through all of this for the love of her life. AND HE DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO GET THEM OUT WHEN RHYSAND GAVE THEM THE CHANCE. *cough* What was interesting though, was how passionate Rhysand was compared to Tamlin. Rhysand is just this stranger and he was the one to convince everyone to give a small bit of their power to see if that would bring her back. I honestly cannot wait to get my hands on the next one. And I hope Rhysand is in it. He's an interesting character. Excuse my rant... Anyways, Sarah J. Maas does an incredible job in making these characters human, she made me feel exactly what Feyre was.
That moment when Feyre is just about to break, she just can't do this anymore, she doesn't know how she will survive... And suddenly she hears music in her head. The most beautiful song she'd ever heard. And it helps her survive, it helps give her the motivation to survive. That, that right there makes me cry every time I read it.
Ms. Maas delivered an excellent book of love and trials, with a mixture of beauty and the beast and badass women.

Sarah J. Maas book signing May third 2017

  Well my life has changed... I got to meet my favorite author, Sarah J. Maas and I'll have you know that is amazing. Ms. Maas was just so funny and so sweet and just bruh.... It was honestly amazing
